I specialise in animal anatomy and am dedicated to creating quality customised illustrations, sculptures, and other artistic projects for you. Each commission is personally designed to fulfill your creative and professional needs.

Creative Services

  • Illustrations

    My focus is on creating professional quality illustrations. I work with a variety of different mediums and art styles. Traditional illustrations include: graphite sketches, animal portraits, anatomical/medical illustrations, and scientific line drawings. Digitally rendered works are also available for those who prefer a more modern approach.

  • Sculptures & Models

    In addition to providing Illustration services, I am also passionate about designing animal sculptures and scientific models. I use a variety of different mediums and can alter my style to cater to the needs of my client, from realistic models to more creative sculptures. Each work is handcrafted and made to look as detailed and life like as possible.

  • Educational Media

    I also create educational media and assets in the form of Infographic posters. Each poster is rendered digitally and will be customised to fulfil your requirements. Infographics can be a powerful didactic tool, which can assist students or the general public with understanding complex biological concepts as well as the identification of wildlife.

More About The Artist

My name is Nicole Perez, I am a Natural History Illustrator who graduated with distinction at the University of Newcastle in 2021. I received the collage medal for this degree. As a Natural History Illustrator, I have been trained to observe my environment closely and capture the fine details of nature. I have a background in biology and chemistry, as well as traditional, digital, botanical and medical illustration which has enabled me to better understand animals and plants on anatomical and biological levels, not just purely from an artistic perspective.

During my time as a student, I have also been taught how to sculpt and create three-dimensional scientific models as well as make works that are more creative and visually expressive. I strive to create quality Illustrations and artworks that are customised to you on either a personal or professional level. So please feel free to contact me, I look forward to working with you!
